Over the years we’ve always made a special point of taking regular hotel nights away. “Date-breaks” we call them. But, when Subby moaned that he’d wished I’d painted my toe nails in the same red as my finger nails, I decided to punish his disrespect by painting HIS nails as well, telling him that I’d make him go out to the beach, and the taverna later, with his blue nails for all to clearly see.
