The Scents of Sap and Sunlight

We knew our snazzy new camera would make everything more visually crisp, hadn’t counted on the sound being this spine-tingle wonderful! All the asmr slurps, drools, and crafty tongue work really come through here, it makes for a very immersive POV. headphones recommended ;)

We ventured up one of the mountains on our island for a panoramic backdrop to our picnic friskiness. K’s new glasses & coveralls really complimented the country splendour. We had some pleasurable slishy fun, and the animal spirits seemed to approve of our energy as on our way back, hoping to catch a fleeting sight of a feral goat or two (the ones here are stealthy and vanish into nature at the snap of a twig like little four legged elvish folk), we found the whole extended fam taking in the languid afternoon views as well. Our first trip to Maui together this spring marked the beginning of our lives together and a new chapter of adventure, as we were happily engaged on top of a waterfall on Hale Akua's retreat and garden property.
