The Scents of Sap and Sunlight

Maui. Little Beach. Sunset. Hightide. Whales. Aloha.

It was the first legitimately sticky warm summer day in our neck of the woods. We'd been languishing out in the hammock and getting all lethargic in the afternoon heat. It was nice and cool in the kitchen when we came inside so it seemed like a highly logical place to make things hot & sticky again :)

The day after a Halloween party till the wee hours, we were s'posta follow up with some friends and go get Korean food to remedy hangovers. We ended up staying in and make love not porn'ing instead :) I've had this raccoon hat for years and never really wore it, turns out I was just saving it for Kei. So absurdly cute in it. Enjoy~

Our first experience with Shibari (Japanese Rope Bondage) was a success! At least we feel like it was based on watching the footage back & seeing some of K’s more creative facial expressions. Our first trip to Maui together this spring marked the beginning of our lives together and a new chapter of adventure, as we were happily engaged on top of a waterfall on Hale Akua's retreat and garden property. A Sunday afternoon with nothing on the to-do list, soft autumn light filtering in an some nice Lo-fi on the stereo all created the mood for some epic, giggly, intense, and intimate eye contact lovemaking. We DID it! After almost two years of visioning and prepping, we now live in our 8x18 Tiny Home in the gulf islands just off the coast of BC Canada.
