This Video Feels A Bit Strange

It’s the hottest days of the year (a few hours later the hottest temperature ever recorded in the UK, was measured at 40.3 °C). If there's one thing Glitter likes more than glitter, it's Mermaids 🧜‍♀️ 🧜‍♂️. So, with us on holiday in Cornwall, with all the stories of Mermaids, Glitter just wants to join in and image that she's a Mermaid. We made this video on our 16th wedding anniversary. Having just come out of our third lockdown, we got rid of the kids for the night and were able to go out to celebrate for the first time in about 2 years. Having left the kids with their grandparents, we have come to Liverpool for the Liverpool Sound City music festival to see some of our favourite new music artists including Geiste & The Deep Blue performing. At the moment, in the UK, it is a time of celebration as we are getting ready for the King’s Coronation – after all the last coronation we had was 70 years ago. With the kids away and the weather nice Glitter and Gold decide to have their own private Coronation picnic a few days early. Unfortunately, the neighbours decided to have barbeques or work in their gardens, playing music as they do. So we’ve had to mute the sound for most of the video (we were able to have the sound on for the last 10 seconds so can catch some of the birdsong that also accompanied our fun) but we’ve added some subtitles to give you an idea of that we are saying to each other.

It's our Crystal wedding Anniversary, but it's also lockdown. So, unable to go for a more conventional romantic getaway, we found a different way to make love in an unusual location. Utilising a tent our kids had been playing in in the back garden for some very adult playtime after dark.
