It was the first legitimately sticky warm summer day in our neck of the woods. We'd been languishing out in the hammock and getting all lethargic in the afternoon heat. Just in time for a self love feature: my fiance and I spending our first few weeks apart while I visited friends on the coast naturally lead to outdoor veneration and pleasure amidst the abundant ferns and cedar radiance.

We've been travelling a lot as of late (within Canada of course), and part of this was staying with some dear friends who just bought a house! This is EASILY my favorite thing we've made so far :) not wanting to hike up to the ocean viewpoint in the midday heat meant we got there with perfect timing to bask in the late afternoon glow, which we keep breaking the fourth wall mid-hump to gush over lol. We ventured up one of the mountains on our island for a panoramic backdrop to our picnic friskiness. K’s new glasses & coveralls really complimented the country splendour. We had some pleasurable slishy fun, and the animal spirits seemed to approve of our energy as on our way back, hoping to catch a fleeting sight of a feral goat or two (the ones here are stealthy and vanish into nature at the snap of a twig like little four legged elvish folk), we found the whole extended fam taking in the languid afternoon views as well. In our never ending joyful search for different backdrops and surfaces to do naughty pleasurable things upon, we found ourselves at this beautiful secret DIY skatepark overlooking the Victoria lakefront. The air was crisp first thing in the morning, we warmed each other up quite nicely while rush hour traffic on the bridge above us made their way to work, then went downtown to sample some nice resinous IPAs and feed the peacocks in Beacon Hill Park.
