Our first trip to Maui together this spring marked the beginning of our lives together and a new chapter of adventure, as we were happily engaged on top of a waterfall on Hale Akua's retreat and garden property. It was the first legitimately sticky warm summer day in our neck of the woods. We'd been languishing out in the hammock and getting all lethargic in the afternoon heat. We've been travelling a lot as of late (within Canada of course), and part of this was staying with some dear friends who just bought a house!
