Cornish Holiday Pt 5: Glitter Mermaid (gull's eye view)

It’s a strange day in early March in the UK. Cold white flakes are falling from the sky and even rarer, staying on the ground! Normally at this time of year this would be blossom but in this case, it is snow! After checking that the schools were still open so that we wouldn’t be disturbed by excited children having a “snow day” and having finished any morning meetings, we headed outside to have some fun in the snow ourselves, Glitter & Gold style.

When Glitter had to purchase an 80s style shell suit for a fancy-dress event, she wanted to get her money’s worth out of it and was curious what the shiny shell material would feel like against bare skin -both her own and Gold’s. Meanwhile Gold had injured his knee and would not be able to do any positions involving him on top, so Glitter, dressed in the neon pink shell suit, and with newly applied blonde highlights in her hair, took the lead, allowing Gold to just lie back and enjoy.

Because Glitter and Gold are having to work from home and the children are at school, we decided to create this video (while we could), partly to cheer us up and hopefully you as well. To remind everyone that even in the darkest hour, you can still have fun and make #lockdownlove. And that it’s possible to stick two fingers up (or the finger / tell it to fuck off etc) at the virus while remaining safe and happy. Remember that your mental health is just as important as your physical health and spending time with your loved ones and sharing love with them helps with that especially in this uncertain time. There’s an old London expression of “keep your pecker up” which pecker refers to good spirts/happiness although I understand in America this means something else. hopefully this video will help with both meanings of the word. Last Summer, while we're on our holidays in Cornwall, Glitter decides she wants to have sex dressed up as something Cornwall is famous* for, a pirate ☠. Unfortunately, the neighbours were also out in their gardens mowing their lawns (thankfully not playing any music) so we had to keep quiet, but this does allow the birdsong to be heard – when the camera isn’t running out of battery. Look out for the deleted scene at the end of the video where Glitter is warming Gold up after the camera’s battery has been recharged. *In the UK, nice weather is that rare day when it is dry, sunny and warm!

After spending the day at various events celebrating 🍾 our Queen’s 👑 Platinum Jubilee ✨ we decided to do a little quick thing (very quick video production for us) to celebrate this in MLNP style, so we don our Red, White & Blue to have some fun.
