Embrace the touch

In this deeply vulnerable and powerful moment, we share the beginning of my husband’s journey toward healing his relationship with intimacy, self-worth, and receiving love. For so long, he’s struggled with feeling comfortable being the center of attention, especially when it comes to affection. He’s always felt the need to *give back* immediately—unsure how to receive love without earning it, without strings, without conditions. In this video, we created a safe, sacred space for him to simply *receive*. No expectations. No roles to play. Just presence, softness, and permission to be loved as he is. We are both naked—not as a sexual act, but as a symbol of emotional transparency and closeness. Through gentle, intentional touch, I remind him with my hands that he doesn’t need to *do* anything to deserve love. This is about more than just intimacy in the physical sense—it’s about emotional closeness, nervous system regulation, trust, and connection. It’s about helping each other feel safe in our bodies and in our bond. Every touch is a reassurance: *You are worthy. You are safe. You are not too much. You are not alone.* This is his first step in learning how to soften, how to stay present, and how to let love *in*—not just give it out. It's the beginning of reprogramming the belief that love must always be earned or reciprocated immediately. We hope this glimpse into our healing helps others know they are not broken. That intimacy can be rewritten. That it is okay to be held—physically and emotionally—without needing to hold everything together.
