The caregivers among us are under a lot of pressure to perform the care they need and still maintain care for themselves. Often they sacrifice the latter for the former, which leads to all sorts of health problems dealing with the stress. To the caregivers, I urge you to TAKE CARE OF YOURSELVES. I know it feels selfish sometimes and it may make you feel guilty but believe me: if you light yourself on fire to keep your family warm, all you'll get is BURNT OUT. Take time to slip away and do something to replenish yourself! Have a quick hot cup of tea... steal a moment to read a quick chapter of a book... or... 😈 slip away and have yourself a good time... It's OK! You're allowed! 🤓😄
