Hands Free Close Up Me Time

This is a quick experiment with my guy-brator the Hot Octopus. The damn thing keeps falling off, and I got tired of having to find medical tape, so I did a little arts and crafts. Cue the MacGuyver music: hot glue gun, velcro, and elastic. If I say 'strap on' it'll mean something different, but 😅... anyway, enjoy the test drive and ENJOY YOURSELF!

I have a Velcro strap that fastens this to me during the session, and I had lost it in the wash. Oh well… the show must go on!

🤷🏾‍♂️ Sometimes you get to eat the dessert 🍨 first. Yesterday I put in 75000 steps 🥵. The next day, before we head out for another grueling day of family fun in the 100 degree Florida sun☀️, I figure I'll take some time for myself FIRST. A notion so nice, I did it twice. I'm trying out some new camera angles, and I'm happy to share my results. Enjoy yourselves... and then enjoy yourselves again!

Have any of you had trouble keeping the Hot Octopuss Solo Lux on your 🍆 while 'in session'? 😨Mine keeps falling off! 😩 If so, I have devised a way to set it and forget it. All you need is a little toilet tissue and some medical tape. Trust me. I hope it helps someone out there, and as always 😈ENJOY😈 YOURSELF!

Insomnia is a pain in the ass. It's 3:17 am and you're awake for no good reason. You know you can't go back to sleep so you angrily start planning your day which is gonna start in a couple hours. I used to do that- NOW instead of lamenting my lack of sleep, I figure I may as well enjoy myself. Everyone else IS asleep, after all. Then 💡☝🏾😲 saaaay...another lighting idea, this time only the light of the monitor. I like the way the shadows appear… what do you think? I wanted to make it last, so I went nice and slow. Enjoy! I'm opening this side up to my wife so she can truly see more about me. For a lot of these, I simply felt like it. And that’s enough. Here, I simply FELT LIKE shooting this. So I did. *shrug* There is something so powerful in self ownership, isn’t there? I’m doing this and sharing it because I felt like it. I want her to see how simple and how empowering that concept is. I have been quite diligent in my 🏋🏾‍♀️gym-going💪🏾. I’ve learned that if you want your 🚴🏾body to let you torture it into shape, then you have to 😈pamper it 😈and enjoy it when you get the chance. 🤷🏾‍♂️Sometimes you eat dessert first… Enjoy yourselves, everyone!

The caregivers among us are under a lot of pressure to perform the care they need and still maintain care for themselves. Often they sacrifice the latter for the former, which leads to all sorts of health problems dealing with the stress. To the caregivers, I urge you to TAKE CARE OF YOURSELVES. I know it feels selfish sometimes and it may make you feel guilty but believe me: if you light yourself on fire to keep your family warm, all you'll get is BURNT OUT. Take time to slip away and do something to replenish yourself! Have a quick hot cup of tea... steal a moment to read a quick chapter of a book... or... 😈 slip away and have yourself a good time... It's OK! You're allowed! 🤓😄
