Getaway Surprise Andre decided to surprise me with an evening in our city- our favorite hotel, dinner at our favorite spot and the symphony! He arranged childcare for the kiddo and whisked me away to an evening with just the two of us- a sweet and thoughtful romantic gesture that we both needed! Life gets so busy so often and sometimes we just need those moments alone to sit and reflect and laugh and enjoy a beautiful evening of delicious food, tasty drinks, music and one another! The getaway was pretty special. And he thought to bring some camera equipment just in case the mood hit, which it did! Something about that perfect light in this fancy hotel, the amazing bed and two naked humans who are genuinely in love with each other made for a great love session. We don’t have that perfect rom-com love where there is no fighting or frustrations, but our love allows us to be imperfect and yet have moments where we are just there for each other, taking the time to enjoy one another in the best ways.

We finally got away for a romantic weekend together, and this time we chose New York City as our destination. We started off the weekend with an amazing visit to the Museum of Sex. Later in the evening, we dined at a friend's restaurant, savoring delicious food and great company. The following day, we had the incredible opportunity to meet Cindy Gallop, the founder of MakeLoveNotPorn, in person! Growing up in a Christian conservative household greatly impacted my view of masturbation and sex in general.
